Dear Scott,
You need to be more tolerant of the intution. A scientist is like an artist, before I use words to say why it is possible that how one thing may happen, I have the feeling or intution of it before I use words to say why. So intuition is very important, without it, then, will there still be creativity?
So do not treat science as very rigid. Science is art.
Now, Vanillasky felt that it is possible that time can flow backward, but he said that he is unable to use words to say why can time flow backward.
Now, I have written some words to say why it is possible for time to travel backward, if you read the following which are my words:
'Does time exist? If it does, what is it?
Our clocks often tick progressively. Yet, the cycles of the day and night may seem to tell us that time may not just flow forward in a straight line.
If there is an aeroplane in front of you, as you move backward, now, the time you experience may start to flow backward. Why is that?
This is because the light scattering from the aeroplane may take longer time to reach you, since you are moving backward.
So the relative motion of you, comparing to another stationary person looking at the same aeroplane that you are looking, your time is moving backward relative to his time.
This is because since he is standing in a stationary position, light will take longer time to reach you compared to him. And so when you are moving backward, you may experience the backward motion of time, and for the other person ‘John’ who is looking at the same aeroplane as you, he will see the aeroplane before you, because light takes shorter distance to reach him than you.
So since he is not moving, he will see the aeroplane before you see it, and because of this, if he sees the aeroplane in 5:00, you will see the aeroplane after 5:00!
For you, when you saw the aeroplane, the aeroplane that you saw, John has already seen it before you. So when you saw the aeroplane after 5:00, the aeroplane that you saw was what John have seen before you have seen it.
So what you are seeing is the past. You saw the aeroplane after John have seen it. And as you move backward, the light scattering from the plane will take longer distance to reach you.
So the further you move backward, what you are seeing will be more towards the past compared to John’s time.
Because your time is moving more towards the past as you move backward, so that may be that the time you experience is moving towards the past relative to John’s time.
So as you move backward at a constant speed, your time will be moving towards the past relative to John’s time, when both of you are looking at the same plane, with John remaining at a fixed position.
So now, after reading the words of mine above, if time exists, time is able to travel back to the past, making backward time travel possible.'
Above are my words where I want to say why it is possible for time to travel backward, moving back to the past. And this is only my first part of my writing, where I will go on to say why is it possible for time to travel to any other direction, such as to the north, south, east or west.
Where I want to say why is it possible for time to move to the south, east, north or west, or in any other direction.
