Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind. But a required tutorial wouldn't be easy to make. What if I just write a post that explains common formatting with examples. But there is already a link to
a tutorial on BBCode available anytime someone posts.
If users use the preview feature and proof-read their posts before posting them, as required by the forum rules, then I do not see how they would still have those obvious formatting errors.
The only effective way I can see to ensure this happens is for the moderators and I to strictly delete any questionable posts or posts that have clearly not been proof read. Users won't waste time making posts that will be deleted, and will either follow the rules or stop posting, thus only leaving posts that follow
the rules.
I will crack down and spend a lot more on moderating and helping new users soon, like later this week. I apologize for the delay.
