Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not?

What evidence is there that ghosts exist? What evidence would it take to make it rational to conclude that ghosts exist?

I think ghosts are something people want to believe in because that would mean there is life after death, and people fear death.

I personally do not believe in ghosts because I have never seen any conclusive proof that they do exist. I have never had a supernatural experience personally, and have never seen proof of supposed supernatural experience's people have had being real. When I see true evidence, I will have no problem believing in ghosts, but until then, I cannot believe in that in which I have no justification to believe

I don't believe in ghosts because I also have never seen any evidence that they exist. If ghosts existed, I assume there would be evidence of it.

There is no evidence that ghosts exist, and I've never seen anything closely resembling a stereotypical view of a ghost. In my opinion, those who say they have seen and photographed a ghost are either lying or have hallucinated.

in order to understand you must first experiment with the tools used to provide such insight

I fully agree it is an open mind that allows you to see, as well as the tools of the trade.

Call the watcher from the Necromonicon, and I promise you will change you mind, this is no hallucination..Do it as it is wrote and you will have the fright of your life.

I put ghosts into the same category as fairies, aliens, god and santa claus.

You cannot disprove a negative, so if you can't prove it does exist, you also can't prove it does not exist.

I had some weird stuff happen to me and for that reason I believe that the places people inhabit/frequent are forever tainted by their presence.
Like the whole Akashic field/theory of everything. If the things that we do have an effect, if auras exist, etc. Then we have an influence on our environment. If our influence is pervasive enough how could we not leave behind traces of ourselves after we die? What kind of an end is death anyway? Brain death is different than physical death, so in essence we could, as the old Irish toast says, "Be in heaven for two hours before the devil knows we're dead" assuming the devil walks the earth, as they say.

I don't believe in the devil, but I believe in people
People have personal power and they can do whatever they want assuming they know how to use it.

My crowley is showing...
