You might ask, what is a libertarian? A 'libertarian' is simply someone who supports and strictly follows the Non-Aggression Principle. In other words, the word 'libertarian' simply means, 'someone who opposes all non-consensual non-defensive violence against other humans who are capable of consent'. That is it; no more, no less.

Accordingly, libertarians come in all sorts of forms. They are a very diverse group. There's left-wing vegan communists who are libertarians, and there are right-wing bible-thumping Christians conservatives who are libertarians. There's gay libertarians, and there's homophobic libertarians. There's black libertarians, white libertarians, mixed race libertarians, anti-racism libertarians, and even some racist libertarians. As I say, it's a very diverse group, namely because the definition of it is so simple and what they support is so agreeable. The the Non-Aggression Principle is so agreeable that even the most wild extremists from all different sides typically agree with it. In terms of how incredibly agreeable it is, believing in the the Non-Aggression Principle is nearly the same as believing two plus two equals four: Even the people you disagree with the most will typically easily agree with it. Most people, if they really think about it, realize they are libertarian. In a sense, almost everyone is a libertarian. Some people don't realize it yet or don't have that word in their vocabulary yet, but they still are libertarians, just like a kitty can be cute even if it doesn't know what the word cute means and has never even hear the word cute.

Diversity is in some ways one of libertarians greatest strengths, but, in other ways, namely politically, it is often their greatest weakness. It leaves them especially vulnerable to divide-and-conquer strategies in politics.

For example, that is why the Uniparty in America (meaning the Republicans and Democrats) work together so vigorously to unfairly rig elections to exclude third-parties. That way they can put forth two slightly different warmongering puppets who both support bigger federal government and who both will drastically increase government spending, increase taxes, and increase violence against peaceful people.

The system is so extremely and blatantly rigged, with the seeming two sides clearly working together as one side against the people, that even a simple change like implementing runoff voting could bring that whole rigged game down like a house of cards, which is of course why the Republicans and Democrats work together so vigorously to stop things like runoff voting from being implemented.

Only about 30% of voting age citizens in the USA voted for Trump, and even less voted for Kamala Harris.

In more ways than one: Nobody won that election.

Friends, we are all libertarians.

Almost everyone in the world is a libertarian, and anyone literate enough and open-minded enough to have read this far into this post is certainly a libertarian.

I'm asking you, let our diversity be our strength not our weakness. Refuse to be divided and conquered. Be the bigger men and bigger women.

If you think Trump and the Republicans are the slightly lesser of two so-called evils, and your talking with someone who thinks Kamala was, suck it up. Don't fall into that trap. Respect that person. Understand that they are kind of your mirror image.

The same goes for if you voted for Kamala.

The same goes if you aren't American: Don't fall into the left-right divide. Focus on the issues that 90%+ of people agree but that aren't getting done because the international deep state and wealthy powers that be don't want them done.

Unify, my friends.

Focus on the things that unite us, such as the Non-Aggression Principle, particularly in its most clear-cut and agreeable applications.

Unify with the supermajority against the tiny minority of big government deep state insiders and ultra-wealthy welfare queens who work together to use the violence of big government to violently rob and oppress us all.

Put the wedge issues aside. They are dividing and conquering us. Refuse to play along with the divisive left-right narrative. Refuse to be divided and conquered. Learn how to see the people on the opposite side of the political or cultural aisle as your allies, and then learn how to actually work together with them, even if that means being the bigger person and putting aside your personal pet partisan political views, and even if it means shutting your mouth and listening with true empathy and understanding-seeking to the people you've previously thought were idiots or monsters or your worst political enemies.

When discussing or even debating politics or philosophy, do your best to exercise the philosophical principle of charity. Don't merely seek to avoid committing a strawman argument; Do your best to steelman your would-be opponent's position to the point they likely get revealed as not even being your opponent. Don't just seek to avoid making an ad hominem argument or personal attack or rude comment; seek to go above and beyond to be kind and extra polite to your interlocutor. Instead of saying, "I disagree because..." or even "I agree, but...", learn how to say, "I agree, and...".

If you want to change minds, hearts, and lives, avoid directly disagreeing with anyone ever. At worst, ask sincere non-rhetorical questions. And ultimately aim to show them they already agree with you.

You'd be surprised how even the people most involved in this system, such as the elected officials serving in congress, are just as fed up with the system as you. You'd be surprised how much even they have in common with you. You'd be surprised how similarly they feel when they vote one way or another on a bill they didn't read to the way you feel when you buy shoes made be child slaves because those shoes are 10 cents cheaper than the other pair that is identical in all ways except cost 10 cents more because they were not made by cheap child slaves but rather by reasonably paid consenting workers.

In some ways, it's not that some small group of so-called 'evil' conspirators are in a small room somewhere laughing maniacally while doing all of this and are our shared enemy. We are even more united than that, and the enemy is in a way even more insidious and overbearing than that. It's more like a well-evolved memetic infection that has been plaguing human society for thousands of years, praying on human nature, surviving and thriving by dividing and conquering us, by evolving through natural selection to find the ways to use what could be our greatest strengths to our disadvantage and to its advantage. It's a dog eat dog world, or, in this case, a memetically evolved disease eating human happiness and freedom world.

We are the tools as much as the victims. Aggressive violence and big government is the enemy, the germ, the disease. And voluntary non-aggressive peace-loving unity is the sanitizer we can use to finally eradicate that memetic disease once and for all.

With love,
Eckhart Aurelius Hughes

Hi, Mary Grant Susan,

Thank you for your reply. If you don't consider yourself a follower of the Non-Aggression Principle, then may I ask for some example of the types of aggression (i.e. non-consensual non-defensive violence) that you support?

Hence it is evident that the state is a creation of nature, and that man is by nature a political animal. And he who by nature and not by mere accident is without a state, is either above humanity, or below it; he is the ‘Tribeless, lawless, hearthless one,’ whom Homera denounces—the outcast who is a lover of war; he may be compared to a bird which flies alone.
Aristotle

While what you are telling is true, and the libertarians need to be united to exert the libertarian practices, what makes it difficult is humans being political animals. So many of us will have our own views, and it will always make it difficult to get together and along with those who have different political views. As per Aristotle, to avoid such situations, one has to be either below or above humanity.
