Effective August 9th-- Only Admins & Moderators Can Create New Topics in the "Forum Announcements" Forum

This forum used to be titled the "Feedback, Support and Forum Announcement", which was its original purpose 17 years ago.
However, now it is only used for Forum Announcements.
Thus, I have re-titled it and adjusted the permissions so that only Admins & Moderators can post new topics in it.
Other members can still post replies to topics in it, unless they are locked. That is namely so that any ongoing discussions in old threads in this forum can continue towards their natural conclusion.
However, most new topics (including this one) will be locked. That is for several reasons, but the main one is I don't (and in practice can't) read through all the posts and replies that would otherwise be posted here, and I wouldn't want to give people the false idea that posting a reply in on the public forums or a random in the public comments section on a post is a way to officially get their suggestion heard or to get their question officially answered.
For now, while I price out options for a better system, anyone who is not a premium member who wants to make an official suggestion or ask a question can email me at Scott@OnlinePhilosophyClub.com.
Premium members can email me if they prefer, but they also have the option of starting a new topic in the Contributors' and Administration Forum.
