What is your view on China brain theory?

The China brain theory is a philosophical thought experiment. Essentially the question is: what if you have a network of people that works like our brain does, is that network conscious? My answer to this question is yes, it is consious. The idea is based on a theory I call "the unity of opposites". This means two things can be opposed and at the same time not opposed and are therefore the same. If you take this idea and apply it to human beings you get the idea that human beings are consious and therefore the collective of them is also conscious.

Did you develop the idea?

Yes, I developed this idea some time before the China Brain thought experiment was articulated.

So..the machine apes the writing style of some famous philosopher? And this is...what? Important? Heck, when I was a little kid there was a weary, weary "comedian" Rick Little who had a sort of undead career doing impersonations of Jimmy Cagney, John Wayne, Richard Nixon. At age nine I wasn't entertained. I can't see how ChatGPT Socrates is much of a game-changer.
