After a twenty-seven year old marriage, Mark divorced his wife Patty Shaw in 2005.They later co-authored a new best-selling book, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Divorce and Recovery in 2007.Then he married Crystal Dwyer in 2011.
Since the book does not speak much about the background of their divorce or the writing of the next book, we cannot objectively come to any conclusions. But subjectively I see this like getting divorced just to have that experience (I know that this sounds hilarious), so they can write a book on that. And the book became a best-seller as well since it was written with true experience, emotions, feelings, etc.
What are your opinions on the scenario? How could a man co-author a book with his ex-wife but could not salvage his marriage? Could it have been merely some drama to boost his business?
