My Theory of 'God': A 21 year old male's point of view

In this I use the word 'God' because the currently accepted meaning of 'God' is a good description for what I am discussing, except what I am discussing does not in any way influence people to my understand of this 'God' so far, and is not in reflection of human image.
Imagine for a moment that god is not in the human figure, imagine a great mass of soul and consciousness. No a visible mass, and not a mass that interacts with that which lies in the physical realm. We humans are physical, we are tangible objects, however the soul is intangible in every sense of the word. It is there but cannot be touched, licked, seen, etc... but we do feel it. What is a soul? I have come to my own theory.
Imaging a great mass of water, you can dip a cup inside this great mass of water, and it is now a cup of water. However you cannot pour that glass of water back into the mass, and get the same cup of water out ever again. It will always be different particles in the cup when you dip back in and get another cup. This is the way I believe the soul to work.
There is a Mass of Soul (like a ocean full of water it is not plural), when a life form comes into physical consciousness, it needs a soul. From this Mass of Soul (God) it draws its soul that it will carry with it for the remainder of its life. When this physical being dies, its soul goes back to 'God'. In this way, you can be re-born, but you will never be the same Soul. In this way you will go to Heaven when you pass, you go back to be with God. And in this way you can go to Hell, for a tarnished or un-finished soul remains forever living as a Spirit, no longer physical, but not able to return to 'God'.
I am still working on my Theory so any constructive thought would be much appreciated. I understand it is not very will written or explained, so I will continue to check in to answer any questions on the subject.

It's a graphic, vivid analogy , and many Christian preachers would like it for their sermons.
Supernatural substances are not everybody's cup of sea water , but.

I am glad that I did get some positive responses, I was expecting a less positive response. Thanks

Hi Nichols
It's good to read some serious sincere thoughts.
Some say that the soul chooses its life and you write that the physical body invites the soul.
Have you thought about why the soul would leave its place to inhabit a physical body only to return from where it came?

I can't speak for Nichols but my guess would be to grow/evolve, to try to become better than before so as to add something upon the return? Or maybe just for fun who knows.

But Nichols implies that this pool of soul is already completely evolved.

That's another question. I've resolved it for myself through my study of cosmology or "levels of reality" that allow the universe to serve its purpose. But that is another topic.

This is what Ala is like.
Good analogy.
God's own Book, the Holy Koran says very similar things.

I do not think that the soul or body choose to inhabit one another, perhaps it is kind of organic, when a body comes to life, it gets 'soul' not 'a soul' just some soul. I say this because I dont think the soul stays in its own, it like water, when life is over gets poured back into the bucket to mix with the rest of the 'soul' not plural.
I had not until now given much thought to that, however I do not believe that the 'God', or place that the soul inhabits when not in physical form, would be a place that it would enjoy. I think maybe it comes to earth to learn and experience, which is perhaps why we are here as well? It would be mutually beneficial for the soul as well as the body and mind.
But again I am a really young man, with little life experience, I think perhaps this is all just wishful thinking on my part, but am exhilarated to hear your responses.

Im sorry I did not mean to imply that the pool of soul is completely evolved.

NicholsLLC , have you considerd that God is a process without end, and not some entity that exists somewhere?

Your idea of souls mentioned above is a mixture with the concept of an after-life. My first question come here, "Does heaven or hell exists under your theory?"
You have a soul but it will never be the same. Souls like water, but water is not concious.
I think it need a proof. Below is some of my ideas to share with you.
Souls cannot be touch, even souls exists.
Souls cannot be touch because you cannot touch it.
Souls will not exist if you are empty.
You are empty because of love.
Love should never be empty.
Religions may help you get the proof.
Philosophers should not live in minds, but in reality.
It comes from, not the other way round.

I agree with Belinda in this regard. God is a process within us, ever changing and omnipotent. We cannot expect to believe that God is a second party "Without" us as God needs to represent Himself to us in the physical. The mental cannot express itself without using the correct "tool" or "machinery" (for want of a better word). He cannot not exist of His own accord because if He could, why would we then need physical bodies to represent the 99% of us that is invisible and untouchable.
