Could someone help clear this up. A light conversation between myself and a friend.

AAAAA. Let us illuminati of PCS raise a New Year's glass to liberalism, struggling hard but the only approach that truly elevates man. All else just reflects contempt of man.
BBBBBB. Aristotolean logic crunchers might describe the "all else just reflects contempt of man" as a textbook example of petitio principii.

Question. Is the statement "All else just reflects contempt of man" an example of petitio principii? Thanks.

It's a petitio principii because as part of the proof that liberalism is correct one would need to prove "all else just reflects contempt of man.". This has merely been stated, not proven.

Yes. The premise assumes the conclusion -- all else are bad options --> "all else just reflects contempt of man".
