Hey there

Hi all,

I'm here because I enjoy rational conversations, an enjoy trying to make sense of myself and the world. Philosophy has been a useful tool for me and has liberated me from prior self-degradations (maybe I'm doing it for the wrong reasons.?) but I value truth, I am fallible and love to ponder this thing which we all find ourselves. I have made some terrible decisions in my life, and finding philosophy has helped me to think rationally when decision making. Growing up in my household, both my parents were/are psychologically imbalanced (if that is the correct phraseology), my mother a paranoid schizophrenic and my father a military man traumatised from his experience in the Falklands. Philosophy has brought me into the 'thinking realm' and has helped me to understand my childhood in hindsight. I am uncertain of nearly everything and this is becoming a problem for me, and for this philosophy has not helped as one could imagine.

Hey, back atcha. Don't apologize for mixing the philosophical with the psychological. True in the classical sense they exist on opposite sides of human condition, but in my experience they end up related, not separated.
