Hello all,

My name is James. I am a 25 year old active duty U.S. Army soldier currently stationed in Germany. In about half a year, I plan to go home and to school to begin studies of biomedical engineering. I've always been a philosophical person of sorts, constantly questioning the hows and the whys of any given situation, and am open to discuss my points of view with all of you. I've been involved within the forum subculture for about 13 years, making my start on InvisionFree and ZetaBoards message board softwares. I'm an avid graphic designer and website creator and a semi decent coder. I'm looking to branch out in my thoughts and also to practice my writing and oratory skills here. People is known by their actions, people spend many time in their job, so it tells a lot about a person.

And talking about that... why are you a soldier? Why did you named the thread "Am I really here?"?
