This is a discussion question for the June 2016 Book of the Month, Justice by Scott Hughes.


Question 8 ~ Real Love

Both Marcus Malley and Prosecutor Joseph Bronson are described as loving their respective wives. Do you think each of them really loved their wives? Do you think Brynn Malley loved Marcus? Do you think Marie Bronson loved her husband? Do you think Joseph and Marie loved their children? Do you think Joseph Bronson loved the criminal “boys” in the “fast river constantly flowing through the justice department”? Do you think Joseph loved the people he helped get sentenced to death by capital punishment? Why or why not?
