Chiropractory is a fraud

The concept that the human body can be fixed by muscle manipulation is a fraud. The chiropractor manipulates the spine to supposedly cure all manner of human ailments. This is a fraud.

If somebody has a back pain it is because they have not used the correct body posture and may have many bad habits. These bad habits may include -

1. Lifting heavy objects from an unbalanced position.

2. Sitting down in a curved and unsupported manner.

3. Sitting down at an angle which is not straight for a prolonged period of time.

4. Laying down with the body in a slightly twisted position for a long period of time.

5. Playing dangerous sports which cause injury to the spine.

Most of these problems can be fixed with rest and time. The impatient person will go to a chiropractor because they want the back pain problem to be fixed immediately. The chiropractor will be happy to oblige these persons and to charge them huge amounts of money by pretending that they can fix the problem with manipulation of the spine.

I agree that chiropractics can be a bit manipulative. ;) Still, don't you acknowledge the reality that the spinal chord is "the cylindrical bundle of nerve fibers and associated tissue that is enclosed in the spine and connects nearly all parts of the body to the brain, with which it forms the central nervous system"?

Isn't there some truth to how the spine and other body parts & functions are connected? http://www.drcraigdc.com/wp-content/upl ... ractic.gif

Yet, although I have visited a chiropractor (primarily for massage), for me, yoga & good stretches & posture are better investments.

Yes, of course the spine is connected to all of the body parts. This is just basic common sense. But that doesn't necessarily mean that you can manipulate it to fix an internal problem. If you use the electricity supply to houses and industry as an example of the human nervous system. Then, if a house or industry has a problem, then, this problem may be caused by many other things, rather than a lack of electricity. If an internal organ malfunctions it is most likely a vitamin deficiency problem. The nervous system uses a lot of copper for example. Thus, people who don't eat enough green vegetables will suffer from nervous system failure due to a lack of copper. This may result in conditions such as Senile Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, Meningitis, Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson's Disease and Guillian-Barre Syndrome. Note - All disease is a result of vitamin deficiency.

Good points. The chart in the link can be helpful in pinpointing possible central nervous system problems. But chiropractics is not a cure all.
