I know I should leave this here, a minor and inadvertent offence, apologised-for. But I am autistic, as I said, and I find it impossible to ignore your aggressive dismissal of a condition that you clearly know little about.

Cheers.

Your course differs significantly from mine; I wished (and wish) you luck on yours.

If you are intelligent enough to debate, you are intelligent enough to know what your words mean and how they come across.
I wish you well to,but I don't like excuses.
Everyone "claims a disease"? Intelligence is not the only faculty one needs to follow the labyrinthine intricacies of human social interaction. Autism is not an "excuse", it is a real and indivisible part of me, and anyone else who shares my condition. I do not have the necessary equipment to conduct social interaction in the way that you are able to do, unconsciously and competently. That part of my brain is wired a little differently, and does not provide me with that invaluable skill. I have to do the best I can with what I have. I don't ask for sympathy, but equally, I would appreciate it if you would not mock or dismiss a genuine disability; life is hard enough as it is. Thanks.

If you don't like my approach, tough. I don't like your victim-splaining but I'm not whinging like you.

No, just playing. Like many others, I come here for enjoyment and entertainment, to discuss interesting things and maybe even learn something.

This is not a place where macho willy-waving is much admired, appreciated, or even encouraged. That's the main reason I come here, and I think this applies to others too. See our forum rules for more information.

I think you mistake explanations, offered to enhance clarity, for excuses, offered to evade blame or responsibility.
