Which god are we talking about here? Are we talking about the Abrahamic god? The Abrahamic god has taught man to desecrate the earth. This god has taught man that he is king of the earth and should multiply til man is a scourge on nature!
The Pagan Gods on the other hand teach man to live in harmony with Mother Earth. Pagans don’t believe that we are born evil - we all have good and bad characteristics. We are not withering sheep that must beg the Gods to forgive us. We use the gifts the Gods gave us to make a good world for ourselves. We accept that things Evolve and change and don’t stay the same forever.
Well put.
It is demonstrable that our creator and sustainer is the Earth and Nature.
Nothing should be venerated above Nature. To do so is to be ungrateful.

Nature says that as we evolve, we must cooperate and compete or die.
When we compete, we create a loser who will feel that evil has befallen him. That bit of evil is within a larger good of our continuing evolution and life.
Cooperation, our default position, is the good but in our dualistic universe, cannot exist without the evil in language or in reality.
I agree with you, that we evolve, but I do not think our core instincts and programming does.
I think we might be able to refine our view of it, perhaps even add some component to it, but I cannot see improving on natures core program.
Our self interest and programming is from nature, and we are presently screwing her badly, and she will screw us back worse in the long run, if we do not repent.

It's interesting how most "old" religions usually had a god that symbolized a particular aspect of nature. Some religions prized certain gods and aspects above others. Egyptians usually placed the Sun God Ra at the center of the pantheon, but the Ainu religion centered around
Repun Kamuy their Sea God and "wise man".
I think the biggest innovation of Abrahamic religions is that they placed their respective versions of God above Nature, or even the creator of Nature. Maybe it's just me, but the idea of God as separate from Nature makes seems like a mistake to me. It makes God conveniently unexplainable and everything about God can be hidden in a shroud of mystery.

A supernatural God has more authority than has Nature for justifying the moral code.

I reader. Be still my heart.
Yes. Christians took their god to such an evil level that no one could fathom anyone insane enough to even take a name, --- if he was worse than the genocidal Yahweh.
Hence Gnostics calling that garbage god a demiurge in our myths.
You likely know that our myth was written specifically to put against the Christian version to enhance the dialog and teaching.
More like Christianity 2.0; consisting of Chrestianty and Jewish core beliefs of the supremacy of man over god and esotericism.
That was great for all, but when supernatural belief reared it's vile head, ---,Christianity used inquisitions, ---instead of logic, reason, and good morals, --- to sell their religion.
Some of the Jesus archetypes and Christianities are not bad, but the (Constantines) and current right wings of all the Abrahamic cults are less than ideal.
Atheists are showing better morals and should be more militant.
The bright and better Atheism needs to outshine the dim of moral whit, God believers.

To have authority, such a god would have to be real, otherwise the only authority are human, as exampled by the inquisitions and jihads. Right?

Earthellism answers what God has done wrong. God created planet Earth as the livable planet in our solar system. Our solar system is a extremely giant space complex which travels at over 1 million miles a hour with God as our pilot. On the creation of earth God chose to reside in Heaven and allow human beings to experience earthell. God gave us a chance to experience human love and every emotion and every pain and suffering. More importantly he gave us the free will not to believe in God or Heaven or even a human soul and allow a place for human devils to reside.
God cried enough tears to fill 2 oceans for the tough love we experience on earthell and God is not here but God's love radiates to us here.
God could not stop the Holocaust or 9/11 because God is not here to protect us from the human devils on earthell.

Ah yes,the ambivalent god. We've seen that before. What difference does the presence or absence of such a god make?

Earthellism answers with the origins of true love and the origins of a human soul. Both are creations of God.
True love is a force that does not exist without God.
Human souls are created by God not by human beings.
A planet without love or creatures without souls is a planet with no God.

If you think your god creates us, explain the many deformed or pure garbage humans that are born yearly.
I have a link but this system does not allow it.
Just picture a three headed embryo and you will get the idea.

God creates souls. Human beings can produce defective embryos and malformed babies.

In answer to the original question.God hasn’t done anything wrong as far as I can see.Man admits that he is totally responsible for all atrocities carried out throughout history as long as there isn’t a God involved. It’s only when a God is mentioned that he tries to shift the blame.

Uummm... gods do wrong things all the time. Ares slept with Hephaestus' wife Aphrodite and then got caught at it by Helios. Big mistake, since then Helios ratted him out. Very embarrassing.

I would say that a one true God doesn’t make mistakes. That would make that God imperfect.
