Ha! I would get no work done.
When I was a teen, I found that my music distracted me from study. So I asked the fellow in the local record store to recommend an instrumental album to me. It was Mahavishnu Orchestra's Birds of Fire. As a Led Zep fan, when I first put the album on, I was flummoxed. What on Earth is this?? :D

Generally, I agree. But the work I was doing was vacuum-cleaning, which I find benefits from LOUD music. I'm about to do a bit more, so I've put on Siouxsie's "The Scream".

I was already into jazz-rock when Mahavishnu first appeared, so I was stunned, but I knew what it was.
