All you said makes perfect sense to me. I never thought of it to be humorous of someone that is agessive before. I definitely have a new view that is a lot lighter.

Exactly correct sentence because the less we speak more weightage will be given to the words we speak, therby the message will easily sink in the minds of the listeners.

If we keep things simple and realize how effective, polite, and kind it is to be assertive and explicit, we will achieve big goals easily. it's all the things we don't worry about at all that others spend time, money, and energy worrying about. There is happy, graceful power in simple, direct, straightforward honest assertive communication. An essential guideline!

Reading through this has helped me realized how often a times i play the passive role just because i don't want to disappoint people of which i have come to learn the hard way, reading In It Together has helped me rewire my mind and i am doing better daily. Its true simple assertiveness gets things done and keeps one inner peace always.
