My modulation: It is that everything matter is a relationship of densities. It will be doubtful that anyone could run a finger on air or the rarified noble gases. So what is true is a perception of a relationship of densities born out of our nature that is able to perceive a little of what is above and a little of what is below. The bigger truth is a “matter of energy” and is all due to the photonic energy of the sun. What is difficult is the concept of living matter or that everything that exist is living or the difference between it and what we are. It is the ability to perceive the one property I agree with trying to define living matter. This property, the ability to perceive, is a limited tool of our reason and that is why we possess an extended tool box at our disposal. Are the plants alive? How is it that they are? And so… we (all living tissue) are just part of the Earth and the only difference is the photonic energy (like a dancing energy finger) that gives life to the otherwise inert dense. We are a sort of QM entanglement resulting in living tissue. We are the result of few transformations of the original QM background wave that wants to be us. We are the wave… or a little wave… a little acorn.

A little hyperbole in the article title and 20 minutes isn't sufficient time to reincarnate (not in our world anyway) but interesting none the less....

The story is bogus. The website is a spoof site, like The Onion.

Ah, I see you are right! I only read part of it, doesn't make much sense if you think about it. http://wafflesatnoon.com/scientists-pro ... ter-death/

I definitely don't believe in any kind of reincarnation - first of all, to be transferred to another body sounds most unlikely from a scientific point of view. Second, and most important, this theory stands up against everything we know of the meaning of life on Earth. A lot of our desires in life, what makes us happy - get at partner, have kids, make them grow up - all point towards the fact that the goal in life is to carry on our family, our specie; we can clearly see a reason, the goal, for what we do in life. For what we can experience from Earth, for what we can know for sure, I cannot see any of this being a reason for reincarnation - what good is it for? Why should we be reincarnated? For what purpose? Compared to our experiences on Earth and to that the very clear goal in life, what sense does reincarnation make?

The idea that nothing comes after death makes sense to what we can experience from nature; it is more simple, more charitable and thus way more likely.
