The sounds at the top and tail of the piece are sampled from sonic representations of actual star frequencies. The deepest sound is the Sun and the more hissy sound is a red dwarf.

Great drumming. The guitar work sounds to me a bit late 70's Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.

Ha! I'm not surprised. It's not rare for me to fall into air guitar playing when listening back to the tracks during mastering.
