I do believe this is possible. But it is something I struggle to achieve. Reacting without thinking, letting emotion control my reactions, and then guilt sets in. I must find the peace within to remain calm and unaffected by the actions of others which threaten my peace.

Outer peace is achieved easier than inner peace. Inner peace requires years and lots of turmoil to achieve whereas outer peace is relatively easy to achieve.

I am a MASTER at projecting outer peace while my inner self is churning. The great thing about inner peace is that it is within our control to work on it, own it, and to be graceful with ourselves when we fail. I do daily affirmations to remind myself to be thankful, to accept myself, to let go of worries and stress, and to let in happiness and peace.

I too am a MASTER at this, or I should say I thought I was. Then one day as I was talking to a stranger about a flower, we were both thinking of buying for our gardens. The lady suddenly paused, turned, and, looking straight into my eyes, said, " Whatever is causing the chaos inside your soul, let it go and you will find true peace." This threw me. I was talking normally, smiling and having a good time, yet she knew I was not truly at peace in my heart. Maybe the eyes are a window, or maybe she could feel the chaos whirling around my life. I don't know. Today I am on the road to true inner peace.

I believe the best explanation for this text is the peace within a person that others cannot see. Someone could be going through a lot, and could still have inner peace in his mind,not being anxious about anything, and taking steps one at a time.

Invincible inner peace is indeed possible, but it is the hardest form of peace to attain because it forces us to look deep into ourselves and reflect, which most people are afraid of. Most people are afraid of facing themselves because they would rather leave in denial that someone else had to come and give them that peace, or blame them when they don't have it. But, being able to move past that, I think you will achieve the most inner peace ever.

I totally understand you! I too project outer peace to a level that must be called mastery. On the inside, though, it is a very different story. Yet my poker face never slips. It's a tough facade, and because I always look like I've got it together, I find it impossible to ask for help when I do need it. Daily affirmations really help me too.

Inner peace is something I want to have every day. But as a person who is easily distracted, I easily lost inner peace from time to time. Inner peace comes from our mindset, if it is weak, then it will easily lost.

Yes, invincible inner peace is possible because it's only the individual who feels it that can explain how satisfying it is. It's an inner feeling of serenity and calmness that only a person feels.

That's right. We should all adopt an internal locus of control because we are responsible for the events that happen to us.

Inner peace is possible. When achieved it can translate into outer peace. Not to be confused mimicked 'inner peace', when people act like it by controlling their demeanor (to appear as if they are in peace). These are the people who make you think that they have it all, that they are absolutely happy with their lives, then they end up shocking you with suicide or divorce etc.

Can we say that inner peace = acceptance? If yes, what is 'invincible inner peace"? I admit I do not get the invincible part.

Reading this post and all the comments make me hopeful that invincible inner peace is possible. I think the key is accepting your own self and to learn loving it unconditionally.
