That was an amazing reply, to be honest. I was really awe-struck(I don't know if that's a correct word for it) . I'lltry the principles in my next phase of life(i.e. college life.) It's just 10 days away

What was the most difficult or challenging part to become an author when writing In It Together ?
Â
Hi,
Christopher Sublett,
Â
Thank you for your question!
Â
In It Together is actually my fifth book, so I didn't become an author with it.
Â
Perhaps the most difficult part for me was to stop working on it and put it out there.
Â
Even after I had the first few rounds of beta-reading, proofreading, and editing done, I found myself making significant edits every time I proofread it—not to fix errors but to make significant additions or changes.
Â
I realized, at that rate, I would never get the book released.
Â
So eventually, I decided not to read it cover-to-cover again until after it was published.
Â
Perfectionism is the enemy of getting things done, as some say.
Â
In other words, the hardest part for me was letting go of the desire for it to be impossibly perfect before release.

I need advice on how to explain a problem in detail. I am a woman with a few words, though I have several ideas.

I'm just awestruck. You're a founder, a coder, a dad on top of that. How do manage all that?
Like, I'm a student. I just have to study and have fun. I can't even manage that.

Do you believe in God. If yes, why?

What were the motivation you had in life when you started building on your life dreams. Did you have a hard time when things didn't go as plan. Where did you draw inspiration from when you had a little trouble?

Hi,
jeminah28,
Â
Is it possible to provide some more details and context for your question?
Â
In any case, may I ask if you are having trouble describing and/or explaining the problem to yourself in your own head?
Â
One tip I might offer would be to test out private journaling.
Â
Private journaling can be a great middle ground between (1) keeping the thoughts, descriptions, and explanations in your own head and (2) sharing them with others in writing or verbally.
Â
For example, if I was preparing to write a speech (or book) that I was going to say (or publish) publicly to others, I'd often start by jotting down some notes on paper that I would never share with anyone—not that anybody besides me would understand them even if they did see them. That's both because they would be incoherent scattered half-thoughts acting more as a reminder than a full thought, but also because my handwriting is possibly the worst handwriting you might ever see. Sometimes I can't even read my own notes!

What is the motto of OBC in comprehensive and precise terms for us to connect with it and work for it in a universal and all-encompassing way? Is it also something like promoting literacy?

How did you manage to sleep between jobs and taking care of the children when they are young? I have two toddlers (2 years old and 8 months old).

You are an incredible time manager. You always have time for your children, you answer questions and tweets and you write books. I guess some of it is your young age and photographic memory. I could do so much more when I was young but at age 70, I realize I cannot do everything I want to do. How much sleep do you require?

I agree with most of the points in your book; in fact, we see many things the same way. So, I was wondering about your views on mental health conditions.
Do you think that Autism, ADHD, Bipolar, clinical depression, and other such neurodivergent conditions are a matter of choice?
Or do you think they are conditions that cannot be controlled; ergo stop fighting them, and accept them as they are?
If you think that they are a matter of choosing, what advice or program do you recommend to assist with choosing to overcome them?
If they are something that cannot be controlled, what advice or program do you recommend to assist someone in working to achieve their goals despite the condition?

I'm definitely inspired by your work. In It Together was amazing read I must say. A helpful one. Managing myself, my routine, my work life, my personal life. It taught me everything.
