Take a slice of (naturally) hollow log. Put a smaller log through the middle and you have a wheel and axel.

The finished product doesn't have to exist in nature, the existence of the component parts could be enough to inspire.

What can be done with this ability of DNA ( as mentioned in my previous post) ? It can be stored at the doctor's office where the monitors would signal when it becomes excited or other states of it. That way ongoing information about the state of DNA of particular person can be monitored by doctor to provide a better health care.

Hi Gulnara.

Can you point me in the direction of where I can find info on this communication of DNA? I am aware of the research said to be done on communication with DNA in Russia but could not find anything on what you stated. I would like to know more because this is interesting.

Hi Gulnara.

Thank you for the info, I would love for this to be true, But. This website is owned by CTP energy Corporation, and al my searching found not a thing from any credible source, any kind of scientific journal or any peer revue. when I entered a search for ctp energy I came up with page after page all linking back to the corporation except for the Florida Better Business Bureau which stated this firm is not listed with them, however it is not required to list with them. I know, I am such a skeptic.

Not quite that simple. Someone had to realizes the wheel had to be round and the axle had to be positioned in the center of it. That does not occur in nature - And if it does please let us know. A round wheel with an axle in the center of it is therefor an invention not naturally existent in the organic world.

That captures the essence of the invention perfectly. It is going beyond what already exists, in nature or elsewhere - and wheels don't exist in nature.

Yet, I am not convinced that wheel per say was used or invented at once, and exactly for the purpose of moving along the chariots. Wheel like structures were used to grind the grain, to fetch the water. I bet wheel existed for ages even as a toy, without much significance assigned to it. Same occurred to gun powder, when for centuries it was only used for fireworks.

Yes and this is part of why I asked the question "Is another simple Invention like the Wheel possible?" It does seem conceivable that there may be existent and simple inventions/discoveries that inventors/scientists might still be missing.

I say such possibilities are infinite. Then again, in who's hands such inventions would end up and what would they do? Say, gun power got into hands of Moghuls and allowed them to rule over ancient India, essentially they became part of India, their royalty. Such enormous historical transformation was possible thanks to the military use of gun powder.

While we speculate I have no doubt that inventors are still busy at work looking for another mousetrap, safety pin, match or other simple and patentable device for profit. And to answer my own speculative question, I have no doubt that another simple Invention like the Wheel is not only possible but is more than probable - but the question of whether it might have the importance of the wheel is questionable - Say what you want about that simple invention but thousands of years since it was first put to use it still remains one of those fundamental inventions on which civilization continues to roll {pun intended}!

Gulnara wrote:Making a fire was also very important invention of the method.
I agree. Not like the wheel but also of tremendous historical importance. But these inventions were thousand of years ago. Question is does any other simple and significant invention remain? Say like in the same way the wheel, in a limited way, overcomes the weight of gravity by making it easier to move weight on land, do you think it is possible that some other relativity simple invention might make it possible to levitate off the ground?; Yes i know there is the airplane but sometimes wonder if there is not some other simple invention that will allow levitation off the ground without the complexity and speed required from the airplane - Maybe there is a simple anti-gravity machine that no one has thought of yet.

Since without anything in a way, all the bodies would simply move through space swayed a bit by gravity from here or there in a non stop motion until they deteriorate, then the only obstacle to the object's free movement is our planet and the weight of the air. There are already satellites that move on their own around our planet. Then again, it is to modern people that wheel looks like such a simple invention. I am sure back then it was as big as computers or nano technologies today.

Also, I might think the wheel actually might pre-date the concept of invention. We could look at the wheel as an invention but thousands of years ago the first person who actually used the wheel for moving things and transportation might have been the town elder who received many kudos for his magical device. In those ages of long ago magic was more important than invention and there is a rich occult tradition much of which today might seem meaningless. But as I review some this occult lore I think of all the symbols and words of supposedly magic power and think possibly some of those geometric symbols which still seems meaningless in our world might be concealing some invention of a power we can only speculate upon. I keep bringing up the Pyramids for example which were not only used in Egypt but also in other cultures some of which are in the Western Hemisphere. To this day no one knows for sure what these pyramids were used for and the theory that they were burial tombs for the Pharaohs is disputed. There are books written on 'Pyramid power' which give pyramids all kinds of powers. And books describing the interesting math measured from the structures. Are we still missing something? Do pyramids have some mechanical force still not understood. And are there other relatively simple geometric devices lost or remaining to be discovered?
