We all do daily tasks, like washing, cleaning, etc., willingly or unwillingly. Almost all of us see them as menial, boring jobs. But, have you ever thought that these menial tasks make us concentrate on one thing and live in the present? Well, the author did!
We often wonder about our future and either repent or celebrate our past memories when we are not occupied. But neither of those is in our control or our grasp. But the present is, and living fully in the present paves the way towards inner peace. So, as the author suggests, these ordinary tasks may hold the potential to lead us towards greater outcomes by simply making us focus on the moment at hand.
What do you think? Do these daily tasks hold the potential to lead us towards greatness, or are they merely a distraction from and a waste of valuable time that we could invest in doing more important and better things?
