Considering the vastness of the universe and a lot that happens to us, is Karma real? Does our actions have consequences?
For instance, you start a company that prioritizes on short term profits by cutting corners on safety or environmental regulations. You run this company for quite some time but then unfortunately, it leads to future accidents or environmental damage that harms the company's reputation. After this, your company's products become no longer wanted by your customers or the company is fully closed after the issue is taken to court.
So, is it possible that negative experiences occur as a result of past actions that were morally questionable? Could it be a law of nature?

Karma may or may not be real. It's unlikely, IMO. However, it might be a good thing if everyone thought it was real.

Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism as well as Taoism believe in Karma. In those beliefs your Karma is effected by past lives and may bring about future bad births.
