Atheism is on the rise, true. But is making very modest inroads (7% of the world population). The vast majority of the world population is religious.

How many are telling the truth?

If you doubt such evidence as is available, even to the point of wondering if people who said "X" really meant "X", or maybe they are mistaken in their own beliefs, and actually believe NOT(X), then there can be no meaningful discussion, yes?

I think you are wrong in almost everything you said.

Religion is BOOMING, even EXPLODING, in Africa and Asia. Why for the very reasons you refuse to admit. Here is an African woman making my point

The next problem is that you assert it has more unwanted pregnancies and abortions that any other "country" (sic). I love you to furnish the data for that claim (once you have sorted your first error).

Finally you criticise a person for making a claim that flies against a fact.
You are implying that having a "goal" for a nuclear family and finding abortion abhorent is incompatible with the high abortion rates.
That is absurd.
A majority of people in the USA have a "goal" of having gun control laws. Is that incompatible with the highest death rate in the world? Really?

Secondly when people talk about Africa they are usually referring to sub-saharan Africa and do to the OP's clame i assumed thats what they ment because the continent is like you said extremely diverse so much so that it wouldn't make much since if the OP was referring to the entire continent

so i assumed they were referring to sub-saharan Africa and i did this for the sake of the flow of the conversation because it is annoying when people get caught up in semantics and derail the conversation over something that no one was confused over and wasn't a problem and yet now has to be explained in detail for no good reson.

And to your incoherent blab about the abortion rate's im not sure what your trying to say? What im saying is that the OP was trying to paint Africa as this place where the family is #1 and people want to have the traditional family household when in reality theres no evidence to support that clame

and when we look we see things like Africa has the highest abortion rates as well as sub-Saharan Africa specifically has the worlds highest HIV rates due to terrible cultural habits Like the habit of if a man is sick is all he has to do is have sex with a virgin and he will be healed and so the young girls get raped by men that have HIV so now they have HIV and are pregnant all thanks to a stupid superstition
and thats just one of many examples that you dont usually find in an area where the nuclear family is high priority in fact you tend to find these kinds of degenerate situations in areas with low nuclear family homes

Gambia
Zimbabwe
Chad
Senegal

The country with the world's highest rate, and higher by far is Georgia - a Christian country.
The abortion rate is 4 times that it is in the USA
It has more women married that the USA , and a higher rate of religious observance.

So I guess christian family values has got very little to do with abortion rates.
