Most of us would not take Nietzsche literally and seriously when he describe the murder in such explicit term. Killing God is Deicide. i have yet to find a term on his murder, which must be the mother of all crimes.
Nietzsche says " we have killed him." By we, does he mean all or everyone of us? That you and I are implicated? I bet many or most of you would wriggle out. Non-believer would base the denial easily: How can I murder some non-existent creature? Believer would simply deny and pass the charge on those damned atheists.
Compare Deicide with Original Sin. The latter has been taken up by so many so willingly.
What have you done?
Nothing. i was born with it.
Like an untouchable in Hindu society?
Something like that, and I am trying hard to save myself.
How?
i must be good, like a repentant convict.
Adding Deicide to Original Sin is Double Trouble. Any taker? Sure. in which case, the case can be closed.
