After listening to more of Marianne, would it be crazy to say that Kate Bush probably drew a lot of influence from her? I listen to her other 60's stuff as well and tunes like 'What Have They Done To The Rain', you can sense it's kind of latent in there.

I'm really not sure. I hadn't seen a similarity between them before you mentioned it. Most musicians are inspired by their predecessors, so I suppose it's perfectly possible?
