Philosophy Discussion Forums | A Humans-Only Club for Open-Minded Discussion & Debate

Humans-Only Club for Discussion & Debate

A one-of-a-kind oasis of intelligent, in-depth, productive, civil debate.

Topics are uncensored, meaning even extremely controversial viewpoints can be presented and argued for, but our Forum Rules strictly require all posters to stay on-topic and never engage in ad hominems or personal attacks.

Discuss philosophical questions regarding theism (and atheism), and discuss religion as it relates to philosophy. This includes any philosophical discussions that happen to be about god, gods, or a 'higher power' or the belief of them. This also generally includes philosophical topics about organized or ritualistic mysticism or about organized, common or ritualistic beliefs in the existence of supernatural phenomenon.

Viswa_01210 wrote: February 24th, 2023, 9:37 am First, I was "serious" due to Attachments.
Now, I'm just having Fun...
Nearly everyone here has tried, really hard, to understand your viewpoint, and to reply thoughtfully to your posts, no matter how close they seemed to gobbledygook. Now it seems they *were* intentionally gobbledygook, and you're just taking the p*ss out of us and our forum! What a waste of time.
I was just trying to understand the "Conditions and Intentions" members about, which they feared to speak about openly as they couldn't understand me. (Mainly trust me).
So, I disguised myself as "Atheist", to understand more than "Fun", and I got it now the deep conditions.

To understand my own view point, it's very easy. If one lose seeking pleasures and seeking Worldly Life, it's much easy.
It's like Paradoxical words in Scriptures. One cannot understand those, until to go through every steps and "Intention" of such scriptures. If one lose attachment to everything, nd ready to "even physically die" to understand what I/Religions speak, then it's very simple and easy to understand from such complex words.

It's not the "Object" clearly defined, but the Specs and Eyes are not clean enough to see.

One Can Ignore of Ignorance, but truly what/who is there to Ignore by One?
Even if there is a "Second", why to Ignore if only "LOVE" is upon Another?

Viswa_01210 wrote: February 19th, 2023, 2:39 pm What is the purpose of Religion, Theism, Myth?

A. To Live safe and secured and achieve desires of life by attaching to world.

B. Just words of Fools or "No/Less Brainer". Uncompassionate Maniac's sayings.

C. To make one detach from world, end one's suffering truly whatever level it shall be, and attain True Peace. To not seek this Universe which is expanding, and returns to the starting point one day from where it expanded, showing it's limitations.

What do you feel, and why?

And also what is the purpose of Life-Limitations?
Not just a feeling, good householder: as for right teaching, right bond (-legion): C particularly "To make one detach from [all] world, end one's suffering truly whatever level it shall be, and attain True Peace."

To seek for such, of course, requires seeing suffering at first place. Suffering is the cause of Saddha, "faith", surrender, and if knowning the path out, one will develop it.
