I wish you a very happy new year and at the same time I would like to invite all of you to be with us (for which I know that you do not need invitations) as you did very well in the past. Thank you once again.

But we value you being with us for a whole year, despite your ups and downs. You all contributed in valuable discussions throughout the last year and helped to flourish this forum as well as the website. And I take this opportunity to thank you all for that. Thanks! Happy new year to you too

This is based on starting several recent years with high hopes and these being dashed on a personal and wider level. The time of the pandemic, the Ukrainian crisis, and so many real issues of suffering are so immense. I do believe in positivity but the present time is such a difficult one for so many people that I approach 2023 with great caution. It may be about finding and hoping amidst the darkness for so many human beings, but hopefully the forum philosophy discussions here will be a guiding light forwards.I agree. Recent past years were quite traumatic globally. So it is natural to feel like that about the coming year as well. All we can do is being optimistic and wishing for the good.
