Humans-Only Club for Discussion & Debate

A one-of-a-kind oasis of intelligent, in-depth, productive, civil debate.

Topics are uncensored, meaning even extremely controversial viewpoints can be presented and argued for, but our Forum Rules strictly require all posters to stay on-topic and never engage in ad hominems or personal attacks.

Discuss philosophical questions regarding theism (and atheism), and discuss religion as it relates to philosophy. This includes any philosophical discussions that happen to be about god, gods, or a 'higher power' or the belief of them. This also generally includes philosophical topics about organized or ritualistic mysticism or about organized, common or ritualistic beliefs in the existence of supernatural phenomenon.

This is fundamental stuff that science has completely ignored.
But whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Say N is the part of the magnetic loop where the magnetic lines are oriented outwards (in relation to the center of the loop), and S is where the magnetic lines are oriented inwards.

When you put together two N or two S poles, the orientations of their magnetic lines are roughly opposite, so they repel each other.
When you put together SN or NS, the orientations of their magnetic lines are roughly aligned, so they attract.

So where was the error in the above?

So what are you saying now? That there is a difference or isn’t a difference between the 4 magnetic interactions?

If you have 2 attractions and 2 repulsion’s then there is a difference, observations have confirmed it.

Science can’t claim that there is only attractions and no repulsions just as it can’t clam there is repulsions and no attractions.

There are attractions and repulsions happening in nature or push/pull forces.

Now please explain where gravity fits into all of this?

SS and NN are the same thing where opposite magnetic lines repel each other. SN and NS are also the same thing where aligned magnetic lines attract each other. These are either two interactions, or degrees of the same interaction. Where do you see 4 different interactions?

Are you being serious? I see attraction and repulsion at play in nature depending on the interaction.I OBSERVE it.

Magnetism is a loop of orentational movement so it's really just one "force", which can manifest as both attraction and repulsion, when in proximity of other loops, duh.

And even if we treat it as 2 forces, how did you arrive at 4?

There are 2 different types of forces that occur (attraction and repulsion) from the 4 magnetic interactions of NN NS SN SS wen you bring two magnets together.Well there was the last time I looked.

You need to get some real magnets not fake ones.

Which is the same phenomenon due to the orientation of the magnetic lines produced by the two magnets. And you think this is wrong because?
#415808
There is nothing wrong about it at all. There are 2 forces, attraction and repulsion that are produced in nature as a result according to observation..push and pull forces.

Why doesn’t science recognise these magnetic push/pull forces of nature?

It only wants to concentrate on its attractive force invented by its illusionary gravity theory?
#415816
Atla wrote: June 28th, 2022, 3:54 am Yeah imagine all the crazy things science could invent then.. like levitating trains and such.
Yes whilst still claiming that there are not push/pull magnetic forces in nature when clearly there are which make the universe and the physical body including the brain operate.None of which has anything to do with gravity.

True.

Evidence is built on facts while faith is built on fantasy.

Religious belief then, is a thing that is prone to falsehood, given the numbers of Gods.

I have all the evidence I need for my belief system.

That is why I can argue that it is the best.
