This is fundamental stuff that science has completely ignored.
Say N is the part of the magnetic loop where the magnetic lines are oriented outwards (in relation to the center of the loop), and S is where the magnetic lines are oriented inwards.
When you put together two N or two S poles, the orientations of their magnetic lines are roughly opposite, so they repel each other.
When you put together SN or NS, the orientations of their magnetic lines are roughly aligned, so they attract.
So where was the error in the above?
