A bit of a subdued show but it was 27 years since I'd seen them last so still well worth it.Very nice! I've been waxing nostalgic for life music really bad over the last year. The one show I went to see during covid was Between the Buried and Me, and the venue had some sort of horrible problem with their sound, so it sounded like a jumbled mess during the first half of the set. Really did not scratch that itch.

I have heard exactly one modern metal song that I enjoy. It's ironic, because I usually like to hear at least some element of jazziness in music, but this is about the doomiest doom imaginable

It's more than the music and lyrics though (although those are both strong), also the times in my life where it packed the most punch.
