I found this forum while searching for additional confirmation of my theory of consciousness which implies a form of reincarnation and open individualism. I found 2 posters who think the same thing which filled me with joy. I tried to reply to their posts to tell them about this, but being a new member requires a verification of my post, which I'm still waiting (I posted yesterday)
I am a huge fan of Schopenhauer and his chief work The World as Will and Representation changed my life and I consider it the most important book I've read. Schopenhauer also believes what I thought about prior to knowing about him, which further cemented my view of eternal continuous consciosness.
