Hi ,
Pls, what are the factors to consider during initiation stage inorder to make a project a success?
Hi, Mr Benji,
Thank you for your question!
The main factor in being successful at a new project when starting is making sure your future selves are on board.
For example, it doesn't matter how strongly Monday Eckhart wants to stick to a new diet and never drink alcohol again if Saturday Eckhart wants to party and eat junk food.
Keep in mind, in the lingo of my book, different-aged versions of the human you see in the mirror (i.e. your so-called future selves) are no more or less you than your neighbor across the street or your sister or brother or niece or nephew. That's true even if the 'older self' we are talking about is only a day older, or even half a day older.
Even if, as a human, you live alone on a desert island, you are actually part of a massive community of many different people, with those many different people being the different-aged versions of that human and even, to a degree, the different parts and aspects of that human. The ego is an illusion, especially the seeming singularity of it. By that, I mean all humans have split-personality disorder to a significant degree, but it's not a disorder per se because it's universal to all humans. That is why they can feel and notice the battles going on within themselves.
Thus, to reiterate my original point, the main factor in being successful at a project, especially a big long-term project, is simply whether or not and to what degree you are in a truly loving, cooperative, non-abusive, and mutually beneficial relationship with your selves, particularly your selves over time.
If Nighttime Eckhart and Morning Eckhart are on the same page, and Monday Eckhart and Saturday Eckhart are on the same page, and all these different Eckharts genuinely care about and love each other and respect each other's independence and spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-responsibility), then we Eckharts together can and almost certainly will work together as a huge team to accomplish incredible long-term projects, with each man doing his part, helped by the team in a mutually beneficial way. That manifests to outside onlookers as consistency, dedication, determination, drive, and incredible self-discipline and self-control.
When Yesterday Eckhart does a seemingly charitable incredible kindness to me (i.e. Today Eckhart) leaving me incredibly blessed and overflowing with gratitude and abundance, then I am happy and capable of eagerly paying it forward by doing charitable incredible kindness to Tomorrow Eckhart. When the other people on your team do their job to help the team, you are happy to do yours, especially when those 'other people' on your team are just slightly older and slightly younger versions of the human you see in the mirror, or even sub-personalities and sub-agents within the same body and brain.
In short, the number one factor in being successful at big long-term projects is to be in a happy, loving, mutually beneficial relationship with your selves over time.
With love,
