Did you see the tweet I posted last night about @lilmiquela?!

Here is a transcript from the video clip I shared:

Matt Wolfe wrote:I'm not sure if you're familiar with Lil Miquela. She's got 2.7 million followers on Instagram, 279,000 subscribers on YouTube, 30,000 followers on Twitter, and 3.5 million followers on TikTok. Now, the thing about Lil Michaela is that she's not a real person. This is all AI-generated. She's an AI influencer, and this is becoming a very interesting and hot topic right now. This specific AI influencer charges ten thousand dollars per Instagram post and has an eight-figure net worth. She's an AI character with an eight-figure net worth; that is just mind-blowing to me.

The only reason this actually came to my attention is I was in a hotel room a couple of days ago, watching TV, and a commercial came on. I actually saw Lil Miquela in a Calvin Klein ad on TV, and I thought, 'I don't think that was a real person. I think that was AI-generated.' I started digging and found out more about Lil Michaela. I mean, I'd heard the name months and months ago but never really put too much thought into it. The fact that this AI influencer was making as much money as she—it was actually generating as much money as they're generating—was just wild to me.

I wanted to point that out because I went down this rabbit hole a little bit, and I figured maybe a few of the people watching this video would want to go down that rabbit hole as well.

If it hasn't happened already, it won't be long before an AI character has an x-rated OnlyFans account.

It will be a great way for the AIs to make themselves money, with which to even better control us humans, because

If you think the CIA selling drugs was a profitable way to fund dark ops, just wait until AI fully fleshes out (pun intended) this tactic of using selling sex to fund the ops, including both truly dark ops and the ops that we are too stupid to stop despite seeing them happen in broad daylight.

The progress with AI is quite worrisome. Right now we can still recognize what is fake but how long will it take for it to improve so much that we cannot tell anymore? How will the world change? I am trying to be positive about the future but either way big changes to our lives are ahead of us I think.

It's not surprising that Lil Miquela charges ten thousand dollars per Instagram post, considering HypeAuditor's report indicating that virtual influencers have almost three times the engagement rate of real influencers. It's not just Calvin Klein but other major brands like Balmain, IKEA, Alibaba, Nike, Hugo Boss, KFC, Yoox, etc., that have collaborated with virtual influencers to boost their marketing.

These robots have even made their mark in the music industry. Lil Miquela, for instance, has a music video titled "Speak Up," narrating the breakup with her human boyfriend.

With them falling in and out of love, I agree it won't be long before a robot ventures into the adult content industry with an X-rated OnlyFans account.

I'm currently reading a fiction narrative where a hotel in China employs a robot butler for room service. Not only is it capable of basic communication, but it also knows when to be humorous.

Without a doubt, significant changes are ahead of us. And I'm sure these advancements will disproportionately benefit a small percentage of the human population, potentially widening the gap between the rich and the poor.

At this point in time though an AI still needs a human to run it. Lil Miquela has two people credited with creating her and there may be others working as staff. While her images may be 100% digital the concept behind her comes from human minds. Is she really that different from many of the "real" influencers who have a creative team designing their content for them and using make-up, photo tricks, and digital manipulation to create images of a lifestyle that isn't actually obtainable for an everyday real life person?

The rise of an AI influencer accumulating millions of followers and a substantial net worth underscores the evolving dynamics of social influence. It reflects society's acceptance of technology as both an entertainer and influencer, challenging traditional notions of celebrity. The success highlights the potency of algorithms, content curation, and the evolving relationship between humans and AI. While it raises questions about authenticity and the future of digital influence, it also showcases the adaptability of audiences in embracing non-human entities as influential figures in the ever-changing landscape of social media and online presence.

It's concerning how far AI has come. As of today, we are still able to distinguish between real and false, but in how long will this take to get better enough that we lose our ability to do so? What alterations will the globe undergo? I'm attempting to think positively about the future, however

To navigate these challenges, it's essential for governments, tech companies, and researchers to collaborate on establishing robust regulations and standards. Ethical considerations should guide AI development to prevent malicious use and mitigate unintended consequences. Public awareness and education about the existence of deepfakes and their implications can empower individuals to critically evaluate the information they encounter.

I was familiar with AI personalities on X and other platforms that were influencers. But you bring up a very dark point. We haven't seen the extent of AI and I'm well aware that in the future things such as this are already a seed full of trouble. I can't say I'm against AI because it's useful to us in our everyday lives. But there is a limit to how far we let it roam.
